As the exams draw near, I realised that the days start to grow shorter... Is it me only or do fellow NUS-mates feel the same way?

Hi!!

I guess I'm fine.. Deadlines are keeping me occupied to not think about these things. As for the new blog skin, I think it's much nicer than the old one.

Speaking about deadlines, this semester is pretty odd, my deadlines are all spread over the last 2 weeks of the semester. Not that I'm complaining but it's really making it hard for me to keep track of all the deadlines if they are not clumped together.

A month away from now and I'll be taking my 1st paper. IT'S COMING!! FAST and FURIOUS!! But I should really enjoy the loooonnnngggg holiday that follows. Thinking of it, I've just finish year 1!!! another 6 more semesters to go... it's going to be hell of a learning journey...

Sometimes I don't know if my heart or mind is stronger... Or what is controlling what... I guess I'm in the midst of an identity crisis recently and I hate it. It's not helping the situation at all and I feel so mad at myself. Did I allow it to come to this state? Did I make a wrong turn somewhere? Will all things be back to what it were before if I U-turn now? I really don't know the answers to these or maybe I'm afraid to try and answer them.

To my dear readers: This post is just one of those times when I'm feeling emo about things, I'll be normal the next time you see me... Don't worry, the nonsensical Aik Hui will never be faraway from his crazy antics... Or maybe I just keep my emotions hidden too well with the clownish facade of mine. Well, I should still be able to solve my problems so keep that smile on your face, I'm still silly old childish me!!

The more I read up on the Reformation, the better I understand the history of things that were happening in 16th century Europe that enabled the Reformation to be a success. Amazing thing was that the reformers didn't usually saw eye to eye on some issues and labeled some as 'devils'.. lol.. I never knew about these major disagreements till today...

The month of March is a bad month..

A little breather

Time for a little breather before I proceed on with my load of essays and projects. I've completed the 1st barrage of mid-term tests and I have to say, I'm pretty beaten by them. My brain seems to be at full capacity now. Sometimes I think it would be so great if we could upgrade the RAM and HD of our brain when we find it max-ed out. But well, there's always memories that will be replaced but then a few sweet ones and memorable memories will forever be close to my heart never to be replaced or washed away from me.

Talking about memories brings me back to 4 years ago. Today, the A levels results were announced. 4 years ago, I was like one of the many teenagers receiving my 'fantastic' results. But 4 years on, I'm still.. well, an A level certificate holder... I don't even feel any different from those people who received their results today. Not any smarter, neither more mature nor more sensible in thoughts and actions. I've grown physically but guess I'm still stuck in the mind of a budding teen. Letting time pass by blindly is but a 'favorite' hobby of mine. No wonder hobbies is called past-time... I really wish to take hold of time and make the best out of it but I'm weak and frequently fall back to my old ways.. Times like this really make me hate myself.. oh well, I have to take the 1st step to start the change within if not, there's no way divine intervention can aid at all.
