Down and Out

It has been one whole week of school. Can't believe I've managed to survived it. Somehow I feel more tired now than when I was in the army. Met a few of my old friends, seniors who told me I'll soon get used to the life in uni. Life's been pretty boring, lecturer's are boring beings, computers has more life than them.
Headed down to camp today, went to see my men's ORD parade. Finally witnessed the point of their lives where they really transform from boys to men. I'll never forget the times I've spent with them, all the tiredness we shared, distances we have covered, enemies we have 'killed' , doing 'illegal' things and then try not to get caught. Scenes of these just flased acroos my eyes as I see the happiness on their faces. Those were the wonderful memories which I'll cherish till the day I take my last breath.

Sad Sad life

Nothing to do again.. Slacking as the COS again, jus kana another 3 weekend duty bcos of some security check, most of the sergeants got extras so at least i know I'm not alone.. missed yf again.. i guess I shld try to prevent myself from signing extras if not I might be missing a lot of YFs and sunday services.. Spent the whole of the week in Tekong came back last night and den today COS, a bit suay but jus do it lor (the nike way)

I'm doing cos duty again on mon.. cant seem to escape the word duty for long.. but well, at least it's an off day so it'll be quite slack.. been really busy these few days, physical training everyday until tired like mad don't have much time to go online intentionally to update the blog. Just found out my phone GPRS can log on to ICQ, so i'd guess u all will be finding me inside quite often. The idea of going overseas came haunting back again and i really hope to find the answer to the ultimate qns: to go or not to go.

Slacking

I'm slacking my time in camp.. and i'm happy to say it.. hee, nth much to do these few days except preparing to do the standby duty.. The best part is I'm not required to do it bcos I'm excuse lower limbs activities due to my ankle, so i guess i'll be mopping the floor for these few days..

[The following info i am going to share is going to be top secret.] Well, life in camp is still going fine, we're preparing for a stand-by duty which we have to be ready to go to war anywhere within 2 hours notice. this stand-by will be for 1 week(not so bad, the bad part: cannot book out!!!! )Arrgh!!!! lotsa things to prepare, every single item has to be new, spent ard $100+ replacing my worn out stuffs, bank account dropping like a bad day in the stock market. However the only good thing abt this is the men actually do appreciate the help that we give. Lotsa preparation to do, shall not talk much, cheerios... Stay happy and God Bless!!!

COS again

I'm the COS again, missing yf again. It's so boring here with nothing to do and this morning i kana scolded by the polar bear aka sergeant major again... looks like we are all here for him to scold and scold non stop. but i'll manage thru, jus one ear in one ear out. another 10 more months and i'll be out of this irritating mess so it will be a blink of the eye. jus heard that we'll be getting pay raise to $920/mth dunno if it's true or not but it better be, if not i think i'll quit.. :p Also, there's this 5 days work week issue waiting for approval, hope it gets approved soon so i can book out every weekend.. miss ya guys lotsa.. seeya at the next blog

A New Era

( just realised that i'm unable to use internet in camp due to a major technical fault with the modem and internal server so i guess i'll only be updating you guys only on weekends or when i have access to computers anywhere anytime.) Am back home for the weekend, had a change of OC yesterday(aka one of my direct bosses) he's called CPT Jason, quite a friendly guy though has an unfriendly face. Nothing much happened yesterday anyway, sort of eat, slept the whole day away, went out at night to watch the movie I,Robot with JY. Hee, quite a nice movie. JY is one of my bestest buddy in company. But he got posted to battalion HQ, quite sad to see him leave though he will still be in camp but under different dept. He's one of those rare guys who actually 90% has the same frequency as me be it working, slacking or even life choices. But i guess in life you never get it all, I'm just thankful to God that i had a chance to be friends with him for the past 8+ months.

back IN camp

well,i'm finally back in this old run down place called Dieppe Barracks, doing my COS(company orderly sergeant aka company only slave)duty. no one's here anyway, but today is their last day of leave so i'll be seeing my army mates in abt 3 hours time.. it's a busy training prog in the months to come, but guess i'll pull thru.

Life After Brunei

Well, here i am with my 1st blog, been wanting to get a weblog up and running but never really put my heart into it.
I'm finally back from brunei.. It's no fun there i tell you but well thanks to God I made it safely back here. Been slacking most of the time back home, gaining back the weight i've lost in brunei.. two more days and it's back to camp for me, the hectic and busy life again..
